Why am I not able to make International calls?

Refer to the Dialing procedure handout given with the SIM card or  follow the steps mentioned below:

+ OR 00 ( country code ) ( Mobile Number without  Zero)

i.e.:   +91 9873097662 OR 0091 9873097662

 

Why am I not being able to make local calls?

Dial the local number of the area without a Zero i.e local number directly. Alternatively, call Matrix Customer Care for assistance.

 

All Incoming calls are landing on voicemail. What do I do?

Dial ##002# and press call key to deactivate voicemail on your handset.

 

My phone is displaying Insert SIM Error. What do I do?

Check if the handset is unlocked especially for  iPhone and BlackBerry handsets. Alternatively, you can call Matrix Customer Care for assistance.

 

My mobile phone is showing SIM CARD registration Failed. What do I do?

Please ensure that the SIM is inserted properly in the device. Check the SIM in another handset. If it shows the same error then contact Matrix customer care and request for a replacement SIM.

 

My mobile phone is displaying an error message “EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY” or “SOS”. What do I do?

Simply switch off and on the phone, Network bars should come up automatically, if not manually select the network.

 

My mobile phone is not displaying any network. What do I do?

Please switch off and on your phone and then manually select the network.

 

What is a CAF number & how do I find it?

CAF is an acronym for Customer Agreement Form/ Sign Up Form. The CAF No. is mentioned on the top right hand corner of your Customer Agreement Form. It’s an alphanumeric and usually starts with letter M /S/ W followed by numeric numbers i.e.  M 123456

 

Why am I am billed high when I used my SIM on roaming?

The country specific SIM card is to be used only in the specific Country. When you use your country specific SIM card outside of that country, you will be charged International Roaming Rates, which are much higher and vary from country to country.

 

Why am I charged rental for next month?

The rental is always charged in advance. The usage is charged a month later according to the Bill Cycle.
